The Saint-James routes in Brittany

On the map below are shown the waymarked Saint-James routes through Brittany that the Breton Association of the friends of St-James of Compostela [l'Association bretonne des amis de St-Jacques de Compostelle] has recognized, rehabilitated, waymarked and which it maintains.

>>> The towns placed on these routes of the map are the stage-towns listed by our Association on our guides.

>>> "Pointe St-Mathieu", Moguériec, Locquirec, the Beauport Abbey and Mont-St-Michel are the starting points (Km 0) of our ways.

>>> The 3 colors of the traces fit to a share of the ways such that they are valued by the Rando-Editions publisher of the 3 guides books containing the ways for which our association provides the description and the promotion:

  • Guide book "Les Chemins de Saint-Jacques en Bretagne" :

This guide book describes all the routes :

  • of which the starting points are in Finistère departement [Pointe St-Mathieu, Locquirec, Moguériec] and in Côtes-d'Armor departement [Paimpol / Abbaye de Beauport],
  • crossing Morbihan département,
  • reaching Redon,
  • of which the proposed description you allow to continue beyond Blain, to St-Jean-d'Angély and Tours route.

The 1st edition of this guide was published in June 2004 and was reissued in late June 2008 (only in French).
